traditional church wedding: jeff & deborah

Jeff and Deborah share such a sweet love story. They were “set-up” by a mutual church friend and though nothing happened for almost a year, they finally shared their first date on the tennis courts of Biola University, where he also proposed!

Their wedding was one of those where so many people have a hand in making it all come together, that it results in such a fun celebration of love, family and friends.

I’ll be honest here…I was a little nervous about shooting indoors since my experience is in natural light photography and I pretty much despise the way flash lighting looks in photos, but I was pleasantly surprised by the results! (I think it helps that I wasn’t the “official” photographer and didn’t have the pressure of getting everything perfect!).

Matron of Honor and sister of the bride, Diane, beaming with joy at the marriage of her only sister!

This is one of my favorite shots of the entire day!

I just love the way she looks at him – so much in love!

Father of the Bride giving his speech…and proud Mother of the Bride agreeing with all he was saying – this couple is such an amazing example of a strong marriage (they were involved in my own wedding because of it – plus they’re my dad’s aunt and uncle)!

Congrats Jeff & Deborah! The love you share is so rare and I know that your life together will bless all of those around you!
