My husband and I joined a small group at our church a month or two after we were married. At the time, there were 3 other couples our age. One was pregnant; the other two were trying.

Over the past year and a half, we’ve seen all three couples experience the joy of welcoming their first child in the world and have enjoyed watching the babies grow. The first baby is now 14 months old!  We also had two other couples join our group, bringing the current baby count to four.

In February, we all gathered to celebrate his first birthday party, where these images were all shot.

First up is Owen, the birthday boy!

Next is Ellie, the only girl of the group.

JP is the newcomer.

And the baby of the bunch, for now, is Lenox.

I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of these cute kiddos as they continue to grow and hopefully we’ll be seeing some new babies in the next year or two!
